Originally from Liverpool in the North West of the UK, I went to university in Birmingham, then came to Japan in 2001.
I’m a qualified Systems coach ORSC™, Psychometric practitioner, and holds a BSc honours in Human Psychology and Human Biology. I’ve been sober, or if your prefer alcohol-free since October 2022 so I understand the many layers of addictive behaviours and impulses, and what they throw up into a life. I’m by no means a sober coach or trained in that area but we can talk honestly about these things. I will also not sell you on an alcohol-free life. It’s hard. Life changes. It takes reserves of resilience that you may not have space right now and that’s OK. You may also have active addition in your home or workplace - this will be folded into the coaching plan and conversations.
I run a grief circle and that is the place where the most truth is told, where clients are their most vulnerable and where I have crafted my skill to hold space for deep bereavement, rage, sweetness, sadness, and outpourings of emotion. It has been the privilege of a lifetime and a bootcamp in coaching presence and restraint.
There are many ways to lead a life, and many ways to approach problems, make decisions and tend to ourselves. I have stewarded hundreds of people through coaching, exploration and discovery over that 20 years and approach everything through three distinct and related lenses.

THE PSYCHOLOGY
Mind, beliefs, values, stories, myths, and our mental melodramas and programming can hold us back, making us believe things that are not true and hampering our decisions. As a qualified practitioner in three psychometrics, we work within your communication preferences and workplace competencies in a quantifiable manner and explore these areas. We all question beliefs and stories that may not serve you well. This is perhaps the most exciting and interesting part of working with me. It’s where the breakthroughs happen.
THE STORY

Why Sarah?
I am a qualified ORSC Organisation and Relationship System’s Coach, have a BSc in Human Psychology and Human Biology and am certified practitioner in Lumina Spark and Savile Wave Psychometrics. In 2021 I was a finalist for Entrepreneur of the year in the BCCJ British Business Awards and 2019 Finalist for the same awards up for a Positive Impact Award.
I sit on the Board of Directors for Refugee Empowerment International. I understand the fascinating and complex webs of corporations and society and ways in which these ecosystems all pull together. Working with me is genuine, stylish, no-bullshit and authentic. I am on the journey with you and my experience and years of study, curious, creative nature and full toolbox all make for a rich and no-nonsense coaching experience.
